The pearl of Somogy. Silence, tranquility, peace. We only heard the chirping of birds. As far as the eye could see, everything was green, hills… show more & valleys surrounded our path. Our room was simple, but very clean & comfortable. There was a bathtub in our bathroom, incredibly comfortable beds in the rooms, a giant TV. It is in a beautiful location, the staff is very kind. Special thanks to Szilvi, Marika & Bia. Everyone is full of ❤️. The chef cooked very delicious dishes, there are incredible portions. You don't have to worry that someone will leave hungry. Their homemade elderberry lemonade has become my favorite. We will definitely come back. Thank you for everything! It met all our needs. It was a perfect place to relax! One small negative: we really missed the refrigerator. There is nothing in Bonnya apart from the accommodation, but this was good. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants peace & complete relaxation. There are many attractions within a 10-40 kms. Apart from the ones resting there, only birds and sometimes a tractor passes by. It is easily accessible by car, and so it is by bike. You can make nice little trips in the forest on foot. Fantastic chef, incredible portions of breakfasts & dinners. And he cooked very delicious food. Special thanks for that. I drank divine coffees & elderflower lemonade. The road leading there itself was also wonderful, but when we arrived, we were just amazed at what a gem we had found "at the end or top of the world". Very well-maintained garden, everything is full of flowers, bushes, trees, birdsong. The staff is phenomenal, we almost cried when we said goodbye. We spent 5 days in Somogy Kertje, but Szilvi & Marika stole themselves into our hearts forever. We loved every moment of our vacation. Thank you for everything, we will come again soon. I would not have come home, if I had wanted to!
